The goal of each great company is the continuous commitment for improvement in order to reach the qualitative excellence of their products.
In the name of the founder, the line “Remigio Family Lambrusco” celebrates the important honorable mention Gold Medal and the Merit Cross obtained at the International Expo in Rome in 1911. This new line celebrates the company’s centennial presenting the historical brand in a new guise and, with its image dedicated to the founder Remigio Medici, it is brand new in the production of Ca’ de’ Medici.
No compromises, no concessions.
Only the best grapes of the best vintages selected in the different CRU are meant to this symbolic line. The basic wines are made exclusively by musts of the very first pressing: a long ageing period together with yeasts determines their unique profiles, creating great wines with magnificent shades and extraordinary complex scents.
The products of the line “Remigio Family Lambrusco” are obtained 100% from natural lambrusco must. Through a long and slow mono fermentation at a low temperature for about 2/3 months, the must is transformed into wine in the same tank from harvest to bottling. The result of this process is a fresh and fruity wine with a peculiar and unique taste, a refined perlage and an extension of its average life without the use of chemicals.
